Terms of service.
The rules for using tryopal.asia and the Opal product.
1. Acceptance
By using Opal (tryopal.asia, tryopal.vercel.app, and related domains) you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
2. The service
Opal provides a risk score, coverage gap estimates, product matches, and optional monitoring updates. Opal is a risk intelligence tool. We are not an insurer, broker, or financial adviser. We do not file, assess, or settle insurance claims. Product matches reference public Zurich / market line descriptions and may require underwriter validation.
3. Not financial or insurance advice
Opal is decision-support software. Scores and SGD exposure figures are model estimates from the inputs you provide — not quotes, guarantees, or regulated advice. Always confirm coverage with a licensed intermediary or carrier before buying.
4. Waitlist and pilot access
Joining the waitlist expresses interest only; it does not create a right to dashboard access. Pilot seats are invite-only when open registration is closed. We may refuse, revoke, or rate-limit accounts that abuse the service.
5. Your account and data
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you provide and for keeping credentials safe. Session tokens stored in your browser are your responsibility to clear on shared devices. Do not submit unlawful content or attempt to probe other tenants' data.
6. Fees
Opal Score and pilot dashboard access are free during the Zurich × MAS GFH pilot while billing is disabled. Paid monitoring (when enabled) is billed as shown on Pricing. Advisor and insurer tiers are separate commercial contracts.
7. Intellectual property
Opal branding, UI, and scoring methodology remain ours. You retain ownership of the business data you submit. You grant us a limited licence to process that data to provide the service.
8. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Opal's aggregate liability is limited to fees you paid us in the prior 12 months (or SGD 0 during a free pilot). We do not underwrite risk and are not liable for insurance outcomes, downtime of third-party cloud providers, or decisions you make based on scores.
9. Termination
You can stop using Opal at any time and request account deletion via hello@tryopal.com. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or threaten service integrity.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, with courts of Singapore as the exclusive forum, subject to mandatory consumer protections where they apply.
